Julia is a young, attractive, active and adventurous woman who loves life and wildlife. She is always passionate, enthusiastic, organised and articulate about wildlife, and possesses that unique ability to explain complex biological or ecological processes in an uncomplicated way. Julia now resides in Australia with her partner, Martin Cohen, and has already developed a love affair with its wildlife. She is very likeable and people and wildlife warm to her instantly.

Background

For Julia, wildlife filmmaking and presenting wildlife information is well and truly in her blood. Born in England to BBC wildlife filmmaker parents she worked on her first wildlife film shoot when she was two! Growing up in the wildlife television industry she was completely immersed in wildlife and its portrayal to people from a very young age. Julia has travelled on numerous filming trips and wildlife expeditions to exotic locations such as East Africa. In her spare time she hand reared all types of weird and wonderful wildlife. Julia and Martin are members of FNQ Wildlife Rescue where they rescue and rehabilitate injured and orphaned native wildlife.
